Clark & Kent Contractors undertake all aspects of work with topsoil.

From importation to distribution, levelling and compaction, we have all the necessary resources to complete top soiling contracts and projects to an exceptionally high standard.

We can handle all sizes of project, from mechanically laid and distributed topsoil through to the smaller jobs that may require a more sympathetic approach and topsoil laying by hand — we have all aspects covered.

In-house specialist equipment allows for the distribution of material from 360 excavators, through to skid steer loaders and mechanical wheelbarrows where necessary.

Clark & Kent Contractors have laid topsoil for some very prestigious clients, and our landscaping work went live to 750 million viewers around the globe in the form of the London 2012 Olympic BMX Track.

We undertook all the field-of-play works for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) in 2012 after a strict tendering process.

LOCOG were assured that Clark & Kent could deliver and lay all the topsoil needed for at this prestigious site and to the highest possible standard.

The project involved an extensive landscaping scheme and, in addition to site-won topsoil, Clark & Kent imported, distributed, placed and modelled a further 600 cubic metres of topsoil.

Access and egress constraints meant the whole process was very labour intensive with a large proportion of the soil distributed by hand in a very sympathetic manner.
